Terms & Conditions – wetterjournal.ch Effective: 9 August 2025 1. Scope These Terms govern business use of wetterjournal.ch. Consumer use is not the focus of this service. The Privacy Policy and Swiss e‑commerce information duties, including clear provider identity and contact address, also apply. 2. Contract and account Sign‑up must be performed by authorised company representatives. You ensure accuracy of data and protect access credentials. 3. Service We provide access to wetterjournal.ch to record, view and export weather and journal data. Availability is best‑effort unless otherwise agreed in writing. 4. Fees and payment Fees per current price list or order form. Prices in CHF excl. VAT, payable within [x] days. We may suspend access upon late payment. 5. Acceptable use No unlawful, abusive or excessive use No interference with third‑party infrastructure No automated scraping beyond intended use Comply with MeteoSwiss Open Data terms and infrastructure rules, including attribution, unaltered and timely reproduction of warnings, and avoiding excessive downloads. 6. Open Data attribution When displaying or sharing MeteoSwiss data within or from your account, include “Source: MeteoSwiss”. Do not alter official warnings and do not imply endorsement by MeteoSwiss. 7. Intellectual property Our IP: Software, designs and content of wetterjournal.ch are protected. Your content: You retain rights to your journal and project data. You grant us a non‑exclusive, transferable licence, limited to the contract term, to store, process and display your content to perform the contract. 8. Confidentiality We protect confidential information and use it solely to perform the contract. 9. Warranty and data sources Service is provided “as is”. MeteoSwiss Open Data is provided without warranties for correctness, timeliness, reliability or completeness to the extent permitted by law. wetterjournal.ch does not replace official warnings. 10. Liability We are liable without limitation for intent and for personal injury. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded and we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or lost‑profit damages, to the extent permitted by law. Liability cannot be excluded for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Cap: Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. 11. Third‑party content and links We are not responsible or liable for third‑party sites or services. Use at your own risk. 12. Term, termination and suspension Ongoing until terminated per order form or with [x] days’ notice to month‑end. Material breach may lead to suspension or immediate termination. 13. Data export and deletion During the term you can export your journal data. After termination we delete customer data following the defined retention period unless legal obligations require retention. 14. Changes We may update these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified in advance. You may terminate before they take effect if you object. 15. Governing law and venue Swiss law. Exclusive venue is Zurich, Switzerland. 16.
